Creating Pathways for the Next Generation
Through a data-driven, community-rooted framework spanning mentorship, advocacy, academic tutoring, and athletic development, we guided 223 young men toward futures once beyond reach — with alumni now competing in the CFL and NFL.
Impact Roadmap
Our primary objective was to align our mission both within and beyond the Black community. We established social capital — a diverse network of high school coaches, business leaders, and parents to champion social change. During this phase, we intentionally refrained from seeking funding, as we were still in the pre-enrollment stage and lacked the data necessary to measure academic and athletic development programs outcomes.
This stage demonstrated the tangible results of our framework, documented through significantly improved academic transcripts and the successful awarding of both high school and American collegiate football scholarships to our participants.
The proven success of our participants caused our mission to resonate deeply with the broader community. This track record simplified the acquisition of corporate sponsorships and increased individual donations, ensuring the long-term sustainability of our student-athlete support programs.
The social return on investments shows that out of 223 Black underserved youth that entered our program, 99% graduated from high school, 97% attended university, 95% graduated from university, 6% advanced their football careers to play professional football — 13 participate professionally in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and 2 are currently in the National Football League (NFL), and unfortunately only 1% got involved in criminal activities.
